Every year we tell ourselves we're prepared for Monaco. Every year Monaco reminds us that we're not! We've been fortunate enough to attend the Monaco Yacht Show many times, but this year's event felt different from the moment we arrived. It wasn't just bigger—it was the biggest Monaco Yacht Show we've ever experienced. The docks felt busier, the lineup of yachts seemed even more impressive, and everywhere we turned there was another world premiere, another fascinating conversation, or another reason to stop and stare.
There's something about walking into Port Hercule during Monaco Yacht Show week that's hard to describe unless you've experienced it yourself. Some of the most extraordinary yachts in the world are lined up side by side, helicopters buzz overhead, tenders weave through the harbor, and every dock is filled with designers, builders, captains, engineers, brokers, owners, and enthusiasts who all share one thing in common: a passion for yachting.
