ZEN... that’s how I would describe The Ritz Carlton on Maui. As soon as you turn into Kapalua you are transformed into completely different Hawaii I had no idea even existed: a Pine Tree forest rolling into the Ocean.
The grounds are beautiful: evergreen & lush, Koi Fish Pond and plenty of chill seating areas sprinkled throughout to just relax and take in these stunning views. Every time we came back from our Adventure-packed day... The Ritz welcomed us with opened arms of tranquility and peacefulness. I believe that attention to detail is what makes a hotel a True 5-star establishment. The Ritz Carlton Kapalua is just that! The second you arrive you are greeted by your name (with Hotel being at full occupancy, how do they know I'm Ms. Chalaya the moment I pull up to the valet? Truly a mystery to me lol ). You can call ahead and make a special item request to be available during your stay, in my case being Vegan Butter for the Room Service (if they can get it, it will be waiting for you when you arrive). "Do you need any extra hangers? What kind would you like? For blouses or trousers?"... I mean, just 5-star service all around.
Another thing that really stood out is the hotel staff: always politely curious inquiring what touristy plans we had that day. If we were heading to the beach, they offered us beach towels and chairs, extra waters... if we were going out to explore they offered us advise on must-do tours and places to see around the island. It felt like everyone really cared about us having just the best time and experience while we were on Maui and they all were so proud of what this beautiful island has to offer.
But what I'm going to miss the most is the breathtaking view balcony in our room... so many special moments: watching the rain-and-rainbow sunset while sipping afternoon tea, having room service Breakfast ordered of its own special Vegan Menu or just having a glass of wine while watching the clouds go by.
Oh Ritz Carlton Kapalua, I miss you already...So serene, so peaceful and yet vibrant and energizing.

Cool! I have never stayed at the Ritz Carlton but I have heard about the quality of their establishments. And as far as customer service is concerned (which I am a stickler for), if they go out of their way just to have some vegan peanut butter waiting for you, then they sounds alright with me!

Wow..ritz Carlton is indeed a paradise..the landscape is breathtaking..the grass is lush..the hotel scream luxury..I love what i see and I wish to visit this paradise on earth one day

This is why I love to travel to different places. One will have the opportunity of viewing beautiful,evergreen and lush enviroment and plenty of chill seating areas throughout to just relax and take in all what it's has got to offer
