When talking about Yachting safely, most of the people think of avoiding storms or wearing a life jacket. It's “safe” to say, that even most of the experienced boaters have been hurt or injured on the boat at least ones in their lifetime. Why? Because it's just easy to get hurt on a vessel. Think about it, it's like navigating inside and outside of a moving car...a lot of things can go wrong. So, are there any precautions one can take to stay safe?
Here are my top 5 safety tips... 1. one hand on the boat, ALWAYS! 2. no running or jumping 3. avoid long skirts, tall shoes and wedges
4. watch out for open hatches (windows)

Thank you for sharing with us those informative tips that we can apply. The safety sis really not just by wearing safety clothes when going in to yachting. I do believe that the safety comes up first to the individual who is about to do something. We should not be clumsy, act the way we should and be careful and responsible to the things we are doing. I know that some needs to be cloth perfectly because of picture purposes but keep in mind your own safety too by not wearing uncomfortable clothes like high heels and wedges in the yacht.
