As a repeat boat show attendee, you may have looked over the VIP pass option a time or two and wondered, is it really worth it? This year, we set out to try Palm Beach International Boat Show Windward VIP experience with the goal of weighing in on this question with the undecided purchaser in mind. Ready for an honest take? Keep reading! For us, a typical day at the boat show means a lot of walking, plenty of talking, and a ton of time spent in the sun. For those of you that can relate, entering the VIP lounge will feel like an air-conditioned oasis. There were a lot of advantages to having this access. Here are our top three takeaways! 1. The Food We stopped by for lunch, in need of something quick and refreshing. The Windward VIP catering did not disappoint! From vibrant multicolored salads to seafood dishes to barbecue and Vietnamese Bao Buns to a table of hummus, olives, and breads, they really went out of their way to appeal to all palates. Fun fact? Rico says the barbecue sauce was the best he’s had in his life! Having access to the VIP refreshments saved us so much time and was also enjoyable. 2. The Ambiance As you probably already know, here at NautiStyles Good Vibes & Music are key. The VIP playlist was DJ Rico approved as it was upbeat and the perfect volume to enjoy the vibe without interfering with conversation! The venue offered both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio was covered and kept cool with fans and dehumidifying machines. The staff was also exceptionally accommodating, handing out complimentary cocktail samplers and ensuring everything was smooth sailing. 3) The Convenience Arguably the most beneficial piece of the VIP experience was the pure convenience. It is the factor that pushes it from the category of being a “nice perk” into being qualified as totally worth it! Let’s face it, when you spend a lot of time at the boat show, having access to AC, real bathrooms, fruit infused water, coffee, tea and meals makes a massive difference. With it being located right in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle of the show, we always got what we needed even when we were rushing to connect with contacts or film the next scheduled yacht tour. So, there you have it… our honest take is, the PBIBS Windward VIP experience is officially NautiStyles approved, especially for those who plan to spend long periods of time at the show!
