Stripes rule the Nautical Fashion world. Just one article of striped clothing and everyone will be saying “Oh, you are looking all Nautical today!”
Stripes are good, I love stripes, but there are rules for wearing them... Rule 1: you can only wear one striped article of clothing at the time. You can do striped shoes and a striped top, or a striped hat and pants combo...but not the top-bottom combo...complete overkill and you are not “The Real Deal” today. LOL
Rule 2: choose your stripes carefully...remember the horizontal stripes are not always your friends if you are trying to look slim...especially for bottoms, I would only do vertical stripes
Rule 3: mix-and-match wisely, if the color and the width of the stripes are not the same, but too close your outfit might look like you are trying too hard. Either go bold and different or do a good job matching. Go Stripes!
