It’s official — and it’s big news for all of us who love explorer yachts. The brand-new Bering 78 has just had her keel laid, and that means her journey from blueprint to ocean-going reality has truly begun.
The keel-laying ceremony is always one of the most exciting milestones in yacht building. It’s the moment when a project officially transforms from design and engineering to something tangible, the first steel in place, the foundation of a yacht that will soon take to the seas.
The B78 is especially exciting because she carries forward the beloved qualities of the B70 while adding even more space, range, and comfort. At just under 24 meters, she’s the perfect balance of manageable size and serious capability, offering long-range cruising in a yacht that’s ideal for families, private owners, or even light charter use.
From her reverse-raked bow for stability, to her shallow draft for exploring closer to shore, to her bright, customizable interiors and expansive outdoor spaces, the B78 has been designed with both adventure and relaxation in mind. And with launch set for 2024, it won’t be long before she’s out on the water proving why she’s such an important addition to the Bering fleet.

This one was such a fun project! We sat down with Nikki and Jason from the Gone With The Wynns YouTube channel for a special two-part video series.

Ok, It's happening... HERE WE GO... OUR FUTURE UPDATE is here! I know you have been patiently (and some of you impatiently 😝🙈) waiting to find out what our next Move is. We are spilling the beans and shining some light on what our Boating Future looks like ahead. 😜 ​

How did we end up in the Open Ocean of the Coast of Newport Beach, CA doing 45 Kts on the James Bond-like slick & shiny Vendetta, and almost blowing my eardrums off?!  Well, it all started with a phone call... 

Producer Michael called and said he wants Rico & I help him get his "boating mojo" back and find his next Yacht!!! Since he is not your average kind of a guy, we were quite intrigued by the challenge and had to think outside the box. 
The West Coast is full of eclectic & vibrant personalities without many financial limitations, but when it comes to yachting we are definitely living in the shadows of Florida, especially Miami. 
So we put on our thinking hats and come up with a few west coast based yacht options to show Michael (all very different from each other) in hopes to inspire him to get back into boating again. 
Vendetta was the first yacht that came to my mind! As we did our full walkthrough a few months back WATCH HERE, I have been obsessed with an idea of taking her out for a spin! So I called Rudy, who was one of the coolest yacht owners we have ever met, and asked him to take us out... you know how there are always 2 sides to each story... well THIS is ours and THIS one is Michael's. lol
